Eroarea „The backup set holds a backup of a database other than the existing database" apare la restaurarea unei baze de date peste una existentă. Soluția este folosirea opțiunii **WITH REPLACE**:

```
RESTORE DATABASE BazaDeDate
FROM DISK = 'C:BazaDeDate.bak'
WITH REPLACE
```

Alternativ, în SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), la restaurare bifează **„Overwrite the existing database (WITH REPLACE)"**.
