# Ce este instrumentul „Website Copying” (staging) în Plesk?

Plesk îți permite să creezi un mediu de **staging** — o copie a site-ului live pe care testezi modificări înainte de producție. Poți găzdui staging-ul: pe un site nou, în același spațiu web sau într-un cont FTP pe alt server.

### Pregătirea unui site de staging

Accesează **Websites & Domains → Add Domain** (recomandat: un subdomeniu). Ca să nu fie accesibil public, nu înregistra domeniul la un registrar și/sau restricționează accesul cu `.htaccess` (Linux) / `web.config` (Windows).

### Copierea fișierelor

- La **Websites & Domains**, găsește site-ul și apasă **Website Copying**.
- Pentru un site din Plesk: alege **Website in Plesk** și site-ul destinație, apoi decide ce se întâmplă cu fișierele existente (păstrare/suprascriere/ștergere).
- Pentru un cont FTP: alege **FTP storage** și completează host, port, director, utilizator/parolă (mod Active sau Passive).

**Notă:** bazele de date trebuie copiate separat.
